Hermiston City Council extends city manager’s contract

HERMISTON — Hermiston City Manager Byron Smith will continue in his role for another two years.

The Hermiston City Council on Aug. 28 approved an amendment to Smith’s contract by adding another year. The new contract now runs until Aug. 24, 2025.
