PORTLAND — Tom Redhawk Tias is back in custody as of Thursday, Jan. 19, after escaping Jan. 16 from a treatment facility in Saint Helens.
The Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation in a press release reported Tias turned himself in Jan. 19 to the U.S. Marshals Service at the federal courthouse in Portand. Officials reported his attorney’s investigator accompanied him.
