HERMISTON — The Umatilla County Fire District No. 1 is one of 10 fire departments in North America slated to be spotlighted Aug. 16-18 in Kansas City, Missouri, at this year’s Fire-Rescue International.
According to the FRI website, the convention will host thousands of fire and emergency leaders from around the world at the Kansas City Convention Center as part of the International Association of Fire Chiefs’ 150th anniversary.
