Oregon has added a fourth blue chip prospect this month to its 2023 recruiting class.

Kodi Decambra, a four-star safety, announced his commitment to the Ducks on Monday. He chose Oregon over Washington, Stanford, Oregon State, Hawaii and others.

As a junior, the 6-foot, 175-pound Decambra had 28 tackles with three pass breakups and two interceptions n 11 game for Bishop Gorman (Nev.). At the 2019 Opening finals, Decambra had a 39.8-inch vertical jump and ran the 40 in 4.53 seconds.

The No. 3 player in Nevada, No. 24 safety and No. 255 overall prospect in the class of 2023 in the 247Sports Composite, Decambra is the sixth player to commit to Oregon’s class and the second defensive back. He joins wide outs Jurion Dickey and Ashton Cozart, cornerback Cole Martin, defensive tackle Tevita Pome’e and running back Dante Dowdell in a group that’s No. 15 in the 247Sports Composite overall.
