On April 21st, 2022, just after 9:00pm, deputies from the Lane County Sheriff’s Office responded to the report of a traffic crash on Prairie Rd. near Beacon Dr. Preliminary investigation revealed that a red 1998 Chevrolet Camaro driven by 49-year old Keith Tottleben of Harrisburg, left the roadway and struck a tree.
Tottleben was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries. A female passenger was pronounced deceased at the scene. Her identification is being withheld at this time.
Speed and impairment are being investigated as possible contributors to the crash. Anyone with information about this case is asked to contact the Lane County Sheriff’s Office at 541-682-4150.
