HERMISTON — A man was arrested Sunday afternoon, Aug. 20, along Highway 84 near Hermiston on suspicion of stabbing his ex-wife that morning in Beaverton.
According to reports, Oregon State Police officers found Alfonzo Terrell Merritt, 50, at 12:45 p.m. near a rest area off the highway. The suspect’s ex-wife Julie Ann Frazier-Merritt, 48, had accused him of stabbing her multiple times at 9:43 a.m. in Beaverton.
