At 1:55 p.m. on November 1, Eugene Police responded to a four-vehicle crash at River Road Connector and River Road.
A man later identified as Marco Enrique Espinoza, age 42, was reported to have been driving a Dodge pickup and crashed head on with another vehicle travelling in the opposite direction. Two other vehicles were also involved. Espinoza’s child passenger, age 1, was taken to a local hospital for evaluation.
Officers suspected Espinoza was intoxicated and after investigating, arrested and transported him to Lane County Jail on charges of DUII, Reckless Driving, and Reckless Endangering.
