At 1:19 p.m. on October 26, Eugene Police were called after report an unverified threat towards an individual connected with Shasta Middle School. As a precaution, the school was put on lockout, and Eugene Police responded to provide security there. At approximately 2:50 p.m., the suspect in the case was located at 1011 Valley River Way. Eugene Police officers pinned his vehicle, and a distraction device was deployed to help take him into custody. He was transported to the Lane County Jail on charges of Unlawful Use Weapon and Disorderly Conduct in the First Degree. The case is still under investigation.
