Police had pulled over a silver Lexus, which came to a stop on the side of the road near this fence, facing west toward 78th Avenue, residents said.

A 36-year-old man who was shot by police three weeks ago was taken from a local hospital and booked into the downtown jail Friday morning in Portland, accused of attempted murder and other charges.
