MILTON-FREEWATER — The Milton-Freewater Police Department teamed up with other local police agencies and federal marshals Thursday, April 11, in a sweep to arrest people with warrants, including a few who have not complied with sex offender registration requirements.

“During this operation we made 17 arrests and cleared 21 arrests warrants,” Milton-Freewater Police Chief Joe Shurtz reported in a statement. “Two of those arrests were regarding sex offender registrations. There was one recovered motorcycle, and we took 21 pills of fentanyl off the streets.”
