MILTON-FREEWATER — Farmers in the Dry Creek area south of Milton-Freewater are calling on Umatilla County commissioners to help them with what they consider a threat to their property.
Deborah Lee is leading the charge. She and her husband, John D. Lee, own the Lee Family Farm, which John Lee’s great-grandfather founded more than 150 years ago. Deborah Lee said their farm and others are in danger from train cars blocking routes to farm access.
