PENDLETON — The National Weather Service issued red flag warnings due to dry and windy conditions for the Columbian Basin and adjacent regions. The warning is for oon Friday, Sept. 9, until 11 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10.
The NWS forecasts wins 10 to 20 mph from the east and northeast, with 20 to 30 mph gusts. The strongest winds are expected along or near the Cascade crest.
