Federal Emergency Management Agency is partnering with the Federal Communication Commission to conduct a nationwide test of the Emergency Alert System and Wireless Emergency Alerts on Wednesday, Oct. 4.
The tests for the EAS and WES capabilities are scheduled for 11:20 a.m. on Oct. 4. If the test is postponed due to severe weather then the back-up test date will be Oct. 11.
