The 2022 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships got underway Wednesday with men’s competition at Hayward Field in Eugene.

Finals were contested in six events, along with Day 1 of the men’s decathlon.

Thursday brings the first day of women’s competition, along with the conclusion of the decathlon. The men’s events will wrap up on Friday, while the women’s events will conclude Saturday.

Here’s a look at the Day 1 results, with the top team scores through six events, the top finishers in each of the event finals and the qualifiers in Wednesday’s semifinals who advanced to Friday’s finals.
