PILOT ROCK — The Pilot Rock Rural Fire Protection District has begun a new round of trainings after receiving a grant from Pacific Power.
Pacific Power Foundation, a nonprofit arm of Pacific Power, awarded Pilot Rock fire $15,548. The fire district used the funds to buy infant, child and adult manikins — life-like, jointed models of the human body — making otherwise expensive and time consuming trainings available and affordable.
