MISSION — Wildhorse Resort & Casino, Mission, this week is all about showcasing small business and economic development of Northwest tribes.
The resort again is hosting the Northwest Native American Summit, starting Tuesday, Oct. 3, and concluding Friday, Oct. 6. Dave Tovey, Cayuse and Nez Perce, is executive director of Nixaawii Community Financial Services, which is working with a total of 57 Northwest tribes in organizing the event that will look at all things business, with a cultural flavor, of course.
