Nurses at Saint Alphonsus Medical Center-Baker City birth center ‘heartsick’ about pending closure

Jenna Hall is losing hope that the birth center at Saint Alphonsus Health Center in Baker City will stay open after July 30.

That’s the date the birth center is slated to close, based on a June 22 announcement by the hospital administration.
