ASOTIN COUNTY, Wash. — The human remains found in the debris of an Asotin County residence that burned in July have been positively identified as belonging to an employee of Wallowa County.

The remains of Michael L. Odom, 48, the owner of the residence at 5950 Grande Ronde Road, were found by investigators. A news release issued on Monday, Oct. 16, by Jackie Nichols, an Asotin County detective, said dental records offered positive identification.
