Springfield, OR. Eugene Springfield Fire responded to a single vehicle crash in to a building Wednesday morning. Fire and EMS crews were notified of the crash located at 1532 32nd St in Springfield at 9:35 AM. Arriving crews found the vehicle part way in to a metal manufacturing building. The crew on Tower 3 utilized their winch to pull the vehicle back from the building and used their hydraulic tools to quickly access the victim who was in cardiac arrest. It is believed a life threatening event precipitated the crash. Crews provided advanced life support resuscitating the victim prior to transport.
