Oregon child welfare officials are asking the public to help locate a missing 14-year-old boy in foster care who might be in Portland’s Lents neighborhood or trying to travel to Washington or Montana.

Trenton Yellowtail, who is in foster care, has been missing since Thursday, state officials said in an alert issued Friday. They believe Trenton is in danger and ask anyone who sees him to call 911 or contact local law enforcement.

According to state child welfare employees, Trenton’s face was swollen due to injuries at the time he was last seen. He has dark brown hair and brown eyes and often wears a hoodie.
