Oregon State profited from a big recruiting weekend as Florida defensive end Zakaih Saez announced on social media he’s headed to the Beavers program.
Saez, a 6-foot-4, 230-pound rush end from St. Thomas Aquinas High in Fort Lauderdale, made his official visit this past weekend.
The 3-star prospect is OSU’s third commitment for 2023, as he joins a pair of state of Washington tight ends in Dorian Thomas and Cooper Jensen. All three considered 3-star commits by several recruiting services. Saez is rated the No. 82 edge rusher by 247Sports.
Saez had offers from Florida State, Iowa State, Louisville, Mississippi State, Georgia Tech, Maryland, Pittsburgh, Wake Forest and several Group of 5 schools.
