EUGENE — Oregon first baseman Jacob Walsh was named a Freshman All-American by Collegiate Baseball.
Walsh, who hit .295 with six home runs and 38 RBIs over 58 games with 55 starts for the Ducks this season, is among 86 players, including six first basemen, recognized by Collegiate Baseball on Wednesday..
