PENDLETON — The demolition of the fire-damaged flour mill in Pendleton is underway, and the city plans to close a portion of a road next to the work site starting in December.

Pendleton Public Works Superintendent Jeff Brown on Monday, Nov. 21, announced the closure of Southeast Emigrant Avenue from Sixth to Fourth streets Dec. 12 through Jan. 2 for the demolition of the building.
