PENDLETON — The Oregon Department of Transportation is scrutinizing several traffic signals in Pendleton, and likely will recommend deep-sixing one of them. ODOT Assistant District Manager Paul Howland said the agency is looking at the one at Southwest Court Avenue and First Street.

“We’re looking at removing that signal that doesn’t meet signal warrants,” he said. “You know there’s a signal right there on (Main Street) and Court that’s really close in proximity.”
