PENDLETON — The cutting edge phenomenon of unmanned aerial aircraft is becoming so international the nation of Australia might as well be in the next county instead of the other side of the planet.

“Carbonix is an Australian company and they reached out to us through ArgenTech, a company they have been working with, which is also associated with this range,” said Darryl Abling, manager of the Pendleton Unmanned Aerial Systems Range. “They reached out to us in late November, saying they had a demonstration they had to do for one of their customers.”
