PENDLETON — Pendleton Chief of Police Chuck Byram reported his department during the week of the Pendleton Round-Up took about 800 calls for service and made about 50 arrests.

While 11 arrests were for driving under the influence of intoxicants, Byram in a press release reported police made two serious felony arrests — one after a stabbing and the other a takedown of a man police deemed “a significant risk to the safety of our community.”
