MILTON-FREEWATER — Police from Oregon and Washington chased a fleeing suspect Tuesday, March 21, near Milton-Freewater, before nabbing him in a field.
Oregon State Police reported a trooper at about 10:20 p.m. on Highway 11 near milepost 32, Milton-Freewater, saw a white Ford Ranger traveling south without lights on at highway speeds. The trooper began a traffic stop but the driver of the ranger took off.
