BOARDMAN — The Port of Morrow Board of Commissioners on Wednesday, Aug. 9, tabled a discussion regarding whether to continue allowing media to attend its executive sessions virtually.
Executive sessions are closed-door meetings governing bodies hold, usually within a regular public meeting, to discuss sensitive topics, such as property transactions or the discipline of an employee. Governing bodies cannot make decisions in the nonpublic meetings but can vote in public meetings on executive session topics and issues.
