Six members of the Union County Search and Rescue team used a one-wheel cart to transport a hiker who injured her ankle in the Eagle Cap Wilderness on Monday evening, July 3.

The rescuers also had to carry the woman in places where the trail was too rough to comfortably transport the hiker on the cart, and to cross several streams still running swift and cold with snowmelt.
