ATHENA — Local first responders Saturday, Nov. 11, near Athena rescued a person injured in an all-terrain vehicle accident.
East Umatilla Fire & Rescue in a statement reported it received a call out Nov. 10 at 10:20 p.m. to Hansell Road and Eagle Creek Road almost 7 miles southeast of Athena for a vehicle accident involving injuries. East Umatilla personnel arrived and the person who reported the crash said an ATV went down an embankment and another person was searching for the male who was injured.
