Thanks to a first half brace from Santiago Moreno, the Portland Timbers were able to pull out a 2-1 win over the Houston Dynamo on Wednesday night at Providence Park. They did so despite rampant physical play on both ends which included nine total cards handed out between the two teams, and they had to play the final 15 minutes with just 10 men after defender Bill Tuiloma was sent off.
