PENDLETON — School districts attending a school safety summit Monday, Aug. 7, in Pendleton get to practice relocation and reunification.

The InterMountain Education Service District and the Oregon School Safety and Emergency Management program are sponsoring the summit at the Pendleton Convention Center, according to an announcement from the IMESD. Relocation and reunification are the portion of an emergency response where students are evacuated from a school building and reunited with their families at an alternative, secure location.
