At 10:46 p.m. on June 2, Eugene Police officers responded to reports a man had been shot at the Heron Meadows Apartments, 744 Throne Drive. An arriving officer applied a tourniquet to the man and along with help from bystanders provided emergency first aid prior to Eugene Springfield Fire arrival. ESF transported the victim, who is in his 30s, to a local hospital for treatment. Eugene Police, Violent Crimes Unit, Metro Drone Team, Springfield Police, and other EPD detectives responded to the scene, and to search for suspects. EPD is investigating the incident.
