SALEM — The newest adjutant general of the Oregon National Guard is a familiar face to Pendleton locals.
Gov. Tina Kotek announced Wednesday, Oct. 18, she appointed Col. Alan Gronewold as the adjutant general. He assumes the post Nov. 4, which marks the retirement of his predecessor, Maj. Gen. Michael Stencel.
