UMATILLA — A Stanfield man is the suspect of a stabbing Wednesday, Sept. 20, in Umatilla as well as in an attack in August.
Umatilla County sheriff’s Lt. Josh Robert said the sheriff’s office arrested Shane Verhey Springer, 34, during an investigation into a stabbing behind the Crossroads Truck Stop in Umatilla.
