HERMISTON — The Oregon State Fire Marshal’s Green Incident Management Team now is in command of controlling the wildfire that began Sunday, Sept. 3, in the area of Highway 395 and Bensel Road in Hermiston.
Local crews worked through the night Sept. 3 and 4 to hold the line on the Bensel Fire as they waited on state relief resources to arrive.
