SUV hydroplanes, kills pedestrian near Pendleton

PENDLETON — A hydroplaning SUV on Sunday, Jan. 8, near Pendleton struck and killed a man as he walked to help at a crash.

Oregon State Police reported Kenneth Dale Strong, 65, of Richland, Washington, died at the scene.
