POOLS IN THE BEDROCK ALONG THE RIVERS EDGE ARE KNOWN TO DEVELOP BLUE-GREEN ALGAE (CYANOBACTERIAL) BLOOMS THAT CAN BE HARMFUL TO PETS AND PEOPLE IF ACCIDENTAL INGESTION OCCURS. SIGNS HAVE BEEN POSTED ALONG SEVERAL ACCESS AREAS ALONG THE  RIVER.

THE WEATHER PATTERN

  • Upper Level Low Pressure off the California coast will help to slowly cool our Hot temperatures. The graphics for days 1-3  show no fronts moving into the Pacific Northwest.  The graphics for days 3-7   Thursday through Monday show a frontal system to our north all of next week but it won’t be moving into the Pacific Northwest until next Friday through Monday. Then another cold front to our northwest next Tuesday.
