POOLS IN THE BEDROCK ALONG THE RIVERS EDGE ARE KNOWN TO DEVELOP BLUE-GREEN ALGAE (CYANOBACTERIAL) BLOOMS THAT CAN BE HARMFUL TO PETS AND PEOPLE IF ACCIDENTAL INGESTION OCCURS. SIGNS HAVE BEEN POSTED ALONG SEVERAL ACCESS AREAS ALONG THE  RIVER.

THE WEATHER PATTERN

An Upper Level Low Pressure Trough has enhances the moisture of approaching frontal systems, but weak high pressure gave us a short break from the rain. The graphics for days 1-3  show a frontal system that approached the coast today to move through tonight and another one right behind it. The graphics for days 3-7  Monday through Friday show frontal systems moving into the Pacific Northwest Monday and Tuesday with a third front approaching the coast next Friday.
