PEOPLE IN THE BEDROCK ALONG THE RIVERS EDGE ARE ARE KNOWN TO DEVELOP CYANOBACTERIA (BLUE-GREEN ALGAE) BLOOMS THAT CAN BE HARMFUL TO PETS AND PEOPLE IF ACCIDENTAL INGESTION OCCURS. SIGNS HAVE BEEN POSTED AT SEVERAL ACCESS AREAS ALONG THE RIVER.

THE WEATHER PATTERN

An Upper Level High Pressure Ridge (“Arch” shape) brings clear skies and cold nights to the Pacific Northwest. Watch out for freezing low temperatures with widespread frost. The graphics for days 1-3 show a cold frontal just offshore today then moving to the southeast into Northern California. The graphics for days 3-7 Monday through Friday show the frontal activity for the period that will return colder nighttime low temperatures.
