POOLS IN THE BEDROCK ALONG THE RIVERS EDGE ARE KNOWN TO DEVELOP BLUE-GREEN ALGAE (CYANOBACTERIAL) BLOOMS THAT CAN BE HARMFUL TO PETS AND PEOPLE IF ACCIDENTAL INGESTION OCCURS. THE WEATHER PATTERN:

An Upper Level High Pressure Ridge (“Arch” shape ) is approaching the West Coast. The graphics for days 1-3  show a weak cold front will be moving through Oregon by late today. The graphics for days 3-7     Thursday through Monday show a cold front that will be moving through Oregon next Sunday followed closely by another complex frontal system.

Forecast For The South Willamette Valley Including Eugene-Springfield:

  • Mostly cloudy and a bit cooler with a slight (20%) chance of of rain Tuesday, a good (50%) chance evening rain, a slight (20%) chance of rain late at night,
