HERMISTON — Two Hermiston residents face charges in two states following a shooting-related police pursuit Monday, July 31, that began in Hermiston then crossed the Columbia River Bridge into Washington.
Officers from the Hermiston Police Department responded that day to several calls of shots fired in the 1000 block of S.W. 11th St. The involved vehicle was seen approaching Interstate 84, where an Oregon State Police trooper spotted it traveling westbound. The trooper attempted to stop the suspect van, but it continued and crossed the bridge.
