HERMISTON — Two people were rescued from a burning building on the night of Tuesdauy, Aug. 29 in Hermiston.
At 11:49 p.m., Umatilla County Fire District No. 1 was dispatched to a structure fire on Geer Extension in Hermiston. While enroute, dispatch informed the responding crews that there were still occupants inside the residence.
