PENDLETON — The Umatilla County Board of Commissioners voted to ask county planning staff to review its recommendation on restricting poultry and fowl in the land use code, rather than voting to approve or deny the proposed change.

The vote, which took place in the Vert Auditorium during the regular board meeting at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 5, means no changes will be made to the poultry section of the county development code at this time. It’s possible that there will be new proposed changes in the future.
