UMATILLA COUNTY — Umatilla County recently received a financial boost to help draft a Community Wildfire Protection Plan.
Umatilla County Emergency Manager Sage DeLong said the $50,000 grant from the Oregon State Fire Marshal’s Office will help gather input regarding what communities within the county would like to see included in the strategy, and also will support the actual writing of the plan.
