HERMISTON — A wildfire has closed Highway 730 in northern Umatilla County. Umatilla County Fire District No. 1 has reported the blaze has burned approximately 1,200 acres, and the Oregon State Fire Marshal is sending a helicopter to help fight the blaze.
The Oregon Department of Transportation reported the highway is closed between milepost 190.5 and 194, which is in the area of Hat Rock State Park.
