PENDLETON — The city of Pendleton and the Pendleton Police Department are defendants in a federal lawsuit alleging civil rights violations.
Matthew Gillum of Weston filed the lawsuit June 15 in Umatilla County Circuit Court naming the city, the police department and officer Chase Addleman and Cpl. Nathan Bessette as defendants. Gillum seeks $900,000 plus court costs and fees.
