PORTLAND — U.S. Sen. Ron Wyden is holding an online town hall Wednesday, July 6, for residents of Morrow County.
The town hall starts at 4 p.m. The organization People’s Town Hall is hosting the event on Facebook at bit.ly/3yhccm8.
The town hall will be Wyden’s 1,024th throughout Oregon and comes after his online town hall for residents of Sherman County. Wyden has pledged to hold at least one town hall each year in each of Oregon’s 36 counties
“It’s an honor representing every part of Oregon and thanks to Oregonians’ commitment to direct democracy, I had my 1,000th town hall in Oregon earlier this year,” Wyden said in a statement. I’ll keep providing these opportunities for any Oregonian to ask me any question.”
